A Classic Spring Wedding at The Millbottom | Adam & Kirsten
There’s something timeless about a spring wedding in Missouri—mild weather, blooming florals, and the sweetest couples who radiate joy. Adam & Kirsten’s wedding day at The Millbottom in Jefferson City was exactly that. As a Missouri wedding photographer, I had the honor of capturing every beautiful moment of this romantic, detail-filled day—starting with a church ceremony and ending with a high-energy dance party in one of the city’s most unique industrial venues.

The Couple
While Adam & Kirsten’s full love story is still a mystery to most of us, one thing’s for sure: they share a deep love for animals (seriously, they have a lot), and that shared passion shows just how caring and joyful they both are. Their wedding day reflected that same warmth—from emotional vows to contagious laughter throughout the reception.
Ceremony at St. Peter’s Catholic Church
The couple chose to say “I do” at St. Peter’s Catholic Church—a historic, breathtaking space in the heart of Jefferson City. The ceremony was filled with love, tradition, and a whole lot of happy tears. The beautiful architecture made for some truly timeless ceremony images, and the emotion in the room was unforgettable.
Wedding Portraits at the Capitol
After the ceremony, we headed to the Missouri State Capitol for portraits, and it was the perfect backdrop for classic, elegant wedding photos. The soft spring light, stately columns, and sweet moments between Adam & Kirsten made this one of my favorite parts of the day. If you’re getting married in Jeff City, the Capitol is a must for your photo list!
The Reception at The Millbottom
The celebration continued at The Millbottom, a spacious industrial-chic venue with exposed brick, open beams, and tons of charm. The sage green bridesmaid dresses paired beautifully with blush pink and white florals, creating a springy yet modern aesthetic.
